Volunteer Expectations

Families will notice a change in how volunteer requirements are tracked this season. With RRYHA’s transition to Crossbar as our new website platform, volunteer contributions will now be measured in hours instead of shifts.

During the 2024–2025 season, families who completed the required 9 shifts contributed an average of 18 hours of volunteer time. That average will now be used as the baseline for fulfilling this season’s volunteer expectations in Crossbar. Please keep this in mind as you review your family’s 2025–2026 volunteer requirements and log your hours throughout the season.

Volunteer hours help us keep registration fees down and allow us to host successful tournaments and events for our players. Opportunities include (but aren’t limited to):

• Concession stand
• Time clock and scoreboard
• Penalty box
• Locker room supervision
• Tournament and fundraising support
