🏒 Calling All RRYHA Families: Consider Becoming a Billet Family for the Minnesota Wilderness!

Have you ever thought about opening your home—and your heart—to a junior hockey player chasing their dreams? The Minnesota Wilderness, based in Eveleth, MN, is looking for welcoming billet families to host players for the upcoming season—and Rock Ridge Youth Hockey Association (RRYHA) families are a perfect fit!

Each season, Wilderness players travel from all over to play at a highly competitive level while pursuing their goals of playing college and professional hockey. As a billet family, you’ll provide one of these dedicated athletes with a safe, supportive home-away-from-home, and in return, gain a lifelong connection to a young athlete and the game we all love.

What Does a Billet Family Do?

Billet families provide:

- A private bedroom and access to laundry and meals

- A caring, structured environment that feels like home

- Transportation assistance when needed (players often have cars)

Why RRYHA Families?

Our association is filled with people who understand the value of community and what it means to support youth through sport. Many of you already volunteer, coach, or cheer from the stands—and becoming a billet family is another incredible way to make a difference in a young player’s life while inspiring your own children.
